Dourakis Winery “Euphoria” honors one of the oldest wine making practices on Crete of making wine from dried grapes. After harvest, Romeiko grapes are left to dry in the sun for up to two weeks until they are nearly raisins. This results in a wine with a syrupy sweetness and intense flavors of dried apricots, figs, honey, and clove. Euphoria is best served with desserts, blue cheeses, or on its own as a digestif.
